What is NPDT Process?

NPDT Process© stands for Nikos Papadopoulos Denoise and Tuning Process.

As mentioned in the section "Flaws Of Digital Music", digital files are noisy and out of tune. Finding out the reason why these problems occur, the root of the problem, was crucial in order for me to work on a solution.

And I did! I cannot elaborate more on that without revealing anything. Let me say this at this point: I am not willing to share my discoveries, the knowledge,  only the "fruits" that come out of it. So I will try to be as vague as I can in regards to what NPDT Process© does and how. Please respect that.

NPDT Process© is strictly an editing process. There are absolutely NO conversions involved, the bitrate remains untouched. (although I cannot say the same about the waveform)

Since I realized the flaws of digital music AND the reasons behind them, it was a matter of time for me until I would figure out how to fix them.

In regards to noise, it was tricky to decide EXACTLY what registers as noise and how to remove it without affecting the music information. Tuning was an easier part because it was heavily relied on my ears, but still there were complications on how to be performed perfectly on a technical level.

Here are some benefits of NPDT Process©:

•  Music is in perfect tune, which will make a ton of difference for people with "absolute" hearing like myself.

• Better soundstage especially on a vertical level, also better detailing/imaging.

• Health benefit: NPDT Process© will protect your ears from ultrasonic frequencies. Music at night clubs will no longer be excrutiating to bear even at extreme decibels.

• ALL music setups will benefit. Since this is the perfect source, the rest of the mentioned playback problems will have smaller effect on the sound result.

• Live Concerts (as low latency on-the-fly program --- not yet available)
