Question 1: Why aren't there hiqh quality samples on your website? Raw wavs demonstrating before and after [= comparison]
Answer: 1) By principle, NPDT Process© does not identify itself as a better version of another format. It stands on its own and proves its merit.
2) Such a demonstration/comparison would be a misdirection from the real purpose of NPDT Process©, which is to have people enjoy music. ENJOY! Asking people to compare would be like inviting them to a sports act, to see who wins and who loses. Besides, that would leave some infuriated and frustrated if they had difficulty in understanding the differences. (Reminder: EVERYBODY can enjoy the benefits of NPDT Process© but few can comprehend it -> ears VS brain)
3) I want to demonstrate/showcase NPDT Process© using commercial music tracks from various genres, that are well-known to people. Giving random samples of copywrite-free music is something even the people that are asking for comparisons wouldn't click on. Really doesn't deserve the hassle. And let's not forget that featuring downloadable wavs of commercial tracks here on the website would be a copyright violation.
4) I tried that in the past via cloud for a short period and I was accused that I messed the original files to sound worse (!). Or that I used songs from different masters (!!). Or whatever other madness. In other words, haters are always going to hate no matter what and there is no chance of satisfying them...
5) Speaking of haters, those people asking for such comparisons are eager to get my files in their hands in order to have them analyzed, NOT to listen.
I say to them: if you want to analyze an NPDT-processed file, spend some damn money to get your own you cheap-asses! You will still have money to buy your Apple watch accessories afterwards, don't worry.
(Although beware haters: even if you analyze, you will still have nothing hahaha, it's called providence ;) )
Question 2: How can I evaluate your process then?
Answer: For about a year I used the cloud to showcase my work, providing raw wavs to the people. But, being illegal in regards to copyright law was something that really bothered me because NPDT Process©, no matter how important, is not an excuse for piracy. So I struggled alot to figure out a solution and I did.
So to answer, Youtube is the place where one can evaluate NPDT Process©. Youtube lets some songs be heard ("Licenced to YouTube by...") and automatically blocks those that shouldn't. This advantage plus the fact that I successfully figured all the problems in order for my work to be intact, have made Youtube a preferred choice for me. Needless to say, this is a much better way to reach more people ;)
Question 3: But doesn't Youtube compress? Doesn't that lower the audio quality/fidelity?
Answer: Yes and no. Yes it compresses, no it does not necessarily lower the quality/fidelity. Necessarily being the key word here. This is part of a finding of mine that of course I plan not to share. Not more to say, I am happy with the audio results.
In any case, if it is my choice to use such a "bad" platform, shouldn't haters be happy about it?
Fact: even my youtube uploads could blow you away like never before. If you can't recognize the quality of NPDT Process©, then stay away from me and my services, forever!
Question 4: You are not telling us what NPDT Process does and you are not offering high quality samples for A/B comparison, do you expect that we just trust you and give you our money?
Answer: No, you shouldn't trust a total stranger. A hater recently said something which he served as a condemnation, but actually is very positive.
You should BELIEVE in NPDT Process©. Let me explain what I mean by the term "believe" because it is a blatantly misunderstood term:
The phrase "to believe and not to investigate" was used as a strong accusation against Church during the age of Enlightment. That's not my meaning at all. For me "to believe" equals thinking plus [something more], imagination, inspiration. So, inspirational thinking! I would never consider this word which describes something ONLY A HUMAN CAN DO as bad.
To sum up, I expect potential customers:
a) to listen to NPDT-processed music via Youtube
b) to see if they like it
c) to further compare in any way THEY want, against ANYTHING that they want and judge for themselves
d) to believe in NPDT Process© and contact me IN GOOD WILL.
Question 5: Are you a fraud/scammer?
Answer: Whoever asks this question to my face is a straight-up rude person, with bad intentions and zero good will and will most probably have a taste of my "french" vocabulary.
Question 6 (more of a statement): I know what you are doing, you are doing THIS/ I bet my ass you are doing THAT/ You are not doing ANYTHING (!) blah blah blah... (to infinity)
Answer: My advice: don't tire yourselves. NPDT Process© is only the "tip of the iceberg", the real discovery lies underneath [discovery in acoustics - physics]. It would be fun though to see you try what you propose and fail haha. (Or maybe even think that you succeeded???!!! Also possible, why not, nothing should surprise me by now)
Question 7 (more of a statement): I have been in the music industry for 20/30/40 (a hundred) years... MY credibility is bigger than YOURS... I should know everything there is to know regarding audio... My career suggests you are a fraud.
Answer: Not only do you not strengthen your arguments with this kind of arrogance [argument from authority = argumentum ab auctoritate], but in reality what you don't realize is that you embarass yourselves by showing that your so amazing CV is actually hollow.
You work in the music business for SO long, an EXPERT, and you cannot INSTANTLY recognize the quality of NPDT-processed music, while at the same time casual people not even related to the music industry can?
It seems like YOU are the fraud here ;)
(P.S: I used to answer these kind of "questions" before, perhaps out of some respect (?), falling for this "authority argument", but not any more. From now on, such "questions" will be totally ignored)
